I went to Hurley and for $22 I purchased the plates which were sent 2 day! Great company and great customer service! Question, what type of cover do you recommend for your inflatable? I have a 9'6 AB and need something that will stay on underway and fit with a 15hp motor. Any thoughts or...
@swaterhouse and @HallOfDreams - question: I installed the Hurley H30 last night and on my 340 swim platform, you have a slight lip. The lip is preventing the Hurley from completely engaging. I almost need a shim of sorts to raise and clear the lip. Did you run into this problem and if so...
@HallOfDreams quick question, installing Hurley H30 exactly like your set up. When you mounted the Hurley how did you compensate for the slight curve on the swim platform? The platform on the 340 is rounded, did you line the Hurley along the curve or straight with some overage off back...
Thanks @HallOfDreams appreciate the pics. How did you know where to mount the dinghy (offsetting it from center)? Did you position it this way to have easy access on and off the vessel? What size dinghy and engine? I'm looking at an AB 9'6 with a 15hp yamaha.
Thanks @SmilingMonkey, did you have any problems with the swim platform lip and the Hurley resting on it? Last question, did the instructions from Hurley provide details of what would be needed to install etc..?
@HallOfDreams thanks for sharing your hurley H30 install. Do you have any pictures with the dinghy off the Hurley? Also do you have any install pictures? Looking to do this. Thanks
Looking at the Hurley H30 and was wondering if you could share some pictures, and did you install yourself or have someone do it? It would be great to see how much room you have on the platform and how much it hangs off. Thanks in advance!
Saopm thanks for uploading a picture not sure how I missed this. How wide is your dink? Can you walk along the back of platform? Also do you have a picture with the dink off? Last question, did you install it your self and if so did you use plates on the underside for support and was it...
Phasma, do you have any pics with your dink on the transom? I was not aware that Hurley H30 had extensions, strongly considering this for my 340. Thanks
Saopm, do you have any pictures you could share of your dink? I have a 07 340 as well and leaning towards the Hurly H30, but haven't bought a dink yet. Was thinking the 10"2 but rely heavily on my swim platform due to the rising tide. Any advice / lessons learned and or pictures would be great.
Does anyone have pictures they can share with the Hurly H30 on a 340 Sea Ray. I'm looking at a 10"2 L X 5"8 W RIB dink and having a difficult time deciding if I need to go smaller on the dink closer to 9"6 X 5"1 . I need access to the shore power, locker garage and we depend on the swim...
BritLady, do you have any pics of your dinghy on your 340 that shoes the room between the dinghy and the back of the boat? I'm curious to see if I could walk to the locker, shorepower etc. Also how did you do your lines? Thanks
I know this thread is from a couple years ago, but what did you end up doing? Do you have any pictures to share? Lessons learned? I'm struggling to figure out what size, davit, and if my transom will be completely useless. We rely on this due to the rising tides. Any info would be greatly...
Outlaw32 did you ever figure out what's underneath your Salon seat? I'm curious as well. I have a 2007 340 and do not have any panels or access other than pulling the couch out 8 inchs.
