window track seals for '89 SD300

Good morning, friends. As with many, my side windows leak. I can't find it happening but I have a small puddle under the aft-berth cushion, in one of the builkheads. it is a fairly substantial puddle--a half gallon, or more, perhaps, after a storm, or two. otherwise, dry. (and to make...

    Benson Windlass, anyone need parts?

I removed the Benson windlass from my 89 SD300. it's in great shape--i would bet the previous (original) owner NEVER used it. I had to cut the shaft and pulley/capstan to remove, but the rest is in excellent shape. Anyone interested in it? I would ship it to you for a total of $100.

I would be happy to let someone here have...

    Removing Benson Windlass

Good morning! So, I've seen the thread wherein the gentleman replaces the Benson with a Lewmar 700. I'm in the midst of this project, now. But, no matter what I've tried, so far, I can't get this pulley off the shaft. The set screw came out nicely. The three bolts on the housing came off...

Hi, everyone. I did try searching on this, but came up empty. I am hoping to do my own winterization, this year. I have done it before, a long while ago, on a 5.0 merc. but now, i have this relative behemoth, with fresh water cooling. I hope to leave it in the water, this winter (marina...
