If you leave the pump on and dont use the faucet does it occasionally repressurize and how often if so?
If not then the system is tight and the pump itself has a leak prior to the check valve / pressurized side of the pump.
My dad let me take a 46’ Ocean when I was 16. Did it once, then he told me to fill it up. Never did it again. That being said, now that Im older if I cant pay to fix it I wont borrow it. I plan the same when loaning things to others. If I know they wont make it right, they can rent their own.

Welcome to the site. Perhaps a little research on here about how to buy a boat would’ve been more helpful. That being said, I bought a truck sight unseen once and learned my lesson.

We have a Lily Pad that we use as a boarding dock when backed into the beach. Easy to roll and launch (2 minutes each way), and straps to the rail season long. Dog paws will tear it, but we like it.
If its an original Atwood Id replace it. For ease I got an Isotemp. Atwood came out in 6 pieces. Isotemp went in in 1 piece. Still “plug and play” once you figure what adapters you need.
