I use fixed bimini support poles, but I use Seamax Bimini Rear Support Pole Kit adjustable pole for the sway bar. Use grease so it doesnt seize in the salt air

I bought a new camper enclosure and the bottom of the panels have a rubber piece that fits into that grove. Not the easiest system to use, but it stays in place well. It sort of snaps / pops in, and stays in place when it is taught.
