We are very happy to on the water too ... although we haven't left the slip yet. The gelcoating of the helm is supposed to be done this week and then the electronics can be installed and then the engines can be started. Unfortunately I am depending on others to do this. I will update the blog...

I worked on the seacocks today and they should be good now. I will out out a new post tomorrow to show the photos. Hoping to get the boat in the water on Thursday.

I do agree but sometimes it doesn't feel like it. Taking this weekend off but will be back at it next weekend.

It kind of turned into that didn't it? Some days I think I worked harder on the blog than I did on the boat... luckily I have my brother as a partner in this project.

I appreciate the comments. I think a boat renovation is something that can never be economical. Once the word "marine" is added to it the price triples. The engine room will be a 2021 project for sure. We might start cleaning it up later this year but it is a large job in itself. Engines...

What about the area beyond the helm? The flat part just under the windshield? Just wondering if there was a name for it?
