    Actually, there was a short period that the rpm went from 1000 to 1300 and back again...would that be surging?

    Did you have any ringing noise associated? A friend suggested it sounds like a loose bolt, of so maybe the bolt holding the exhaust manifold of riser? Thanks I'll check it out.

    I fired up the engines this morning. The Starboard engine started ok, but had a "ringing" noise like a bell ringing. There was a little "smoke" or maybe "steam" coming from the risers area... No real odor that's why I say maybe steam! To me sounds like the ringing as if the starter is...

    Sea Trial question WOT question

    I have a 1999 340 w 7.4 Horizons. From idle to WOT, the Port RPM increases slower then the Starboard RPM. I will get 4100 RPM Port and 4400 RPM Starboard. I think I’ll look into my Port engine for any issues.
