Still doesn’t explain why it ran one day and not the next?! And I could’ve swore I took one wire at a time off and put it on the appropriate terminal on the new switch. I actually have the original switch back on. Sorry again and thank you, I learned a ton.
I would like to thank everyone for all there help and to apologize to everyone for being a complete JA. I had the switch wired wrong. Looking back today there were two different places I found the wiring diagram. One had the red/purple on the ignition terminal and one had the purple on it. Of...
Check how? I have the battery terminal, then there’s 2 small terminals, but I only use one. I have a red/purple wire and an orange wire connected to the 90 amp fuse the way it was hooked up to the old starter. Then I have the red/yellow wire connected to the small terminal on the right side of...
Diagram looks like it goes from key, through shifter, to each gauge to cannon plug. I have 12v after the shifter, but not at the cannon plug. Thanks for everything!! I’ll report back when I find it.
Hot wired the purple, fired right up!! Can’t tell you how much I appreciate all your help! I guess I just need to trace that purple wire from the key forward. Of course it looks like it jumps every gauge in the dash. I have 12v on purple after shifter but not at cannon plug(which I did the other...
But when I run a jumper directly from r/y terminal at key to slave I get the same results.
for the purple wire I have 12v in run position then 0v in start position
So it seems as though when I jumper it to slave or across key terminals it gets enough juice for spark from coil and to pulse injectors but still not enough for spark at plugs? Only works correctly with direct jump from battery to slave
