I’ve search for over a year for a steering wheel. I found a few I like, but I just couldn’t pull the trigger. I seen this one on eBay and I couldn’t be happier. Very well-made from stainless steel and hand sewn leather and at $85 I couldn’t pass it up!
Extended my flush ports to my rear electrical cable storage area. My boat is in a slip 365 and sometimes is not used for a month or 2. Thought I would flush with Salt Away or some other product while not using. I’m not planning on closing the sea cock as it’s a pain to reach. Fresh water and...
During the last 2 hurricanes I removed the canvas so it didn’t get shredded. This created another issue that I just found.
The area below the helm filled with water high enough to partially submerge the DC fuse panel. Found out there was debris blocking the drain holes on each corning on the...
So it looks like I will be replacing the Tides Marine shaft seal on the 310. I do have a spare seal on both shafts. (Port/Starboard)
Question is, has anyone ever successfully completed this job and if so, what all did you remove to gain access to them? Looks to me like removing both exhaust...
Always had water in the bilge between the engines on the 310 so I decided to take a shot at a DIY project I seen online. I plan on plumbing it to the shower sump.
I’ll install it over the Thanksgiving weekend and report the results.
My depth indicator in my Smartcraft gauge works for the first few hours then it will flash the last depth.
Could this be a failing transducer or smart craft gauge?
Had the boat out on the Halifax on Wednesday. Water was high and dirty and a few pieces of debris but not bad. Spent the night on the hook near the ISB Bridge. Nice view of the bridge.
I’m sure this has been covered here before but I wanted to let anyone know that’s thinking about replacing theirs that it’s rather straight forward and easy. You can find the LCD screens on ebay.
Head Breaker is ok, (removed panel and checked for DC voltage on both sides of breaker).
No power at + side of pressure switch. If I add 12v power to + side of switch the pump and pressure switch runs perfect.
Where does power wire go after is exits the breaker?
