What’s that button do? Nothing, it’s broken

Well I have an older boat... It's a 1989! So... I get about 2 gallons of water after a day out... I don't know where it's coming from, can't find the leak. Outdrive position gauge doesn't work because the wires were bad and I just cut them and won't fix them because I don't need it...

    Snow in April + Boating = ??

Well… It was an interesting day today! My friend and I went out on my boat today to do a little fishing…. It was a bit cool, but we are typical New England hard-core “sailors” and so we didn’t mind the 43 degree weather! We got to the shore at about 10am, got on the boat and started fishing. So...

    Temperature Gauge Question

OK, I think I got the answer... the temperature is correct! It's a 140 temp thermostat and the gauge is actualy marking a bit below 145 so it's 140. Problem solved... Duhhh!

    Temperature Gauge Question

Ok, now that my boat is running what should the temperature gauge be reading? It goes up to 145 and stays there... is 145 the right temperature? I'm using a new thermostat that I bought from a Mercury boat dealer. Peter
