Thanks guys. I'm going to tackle this over the next couple days. I picked up the tranny cooler today, but went with Mercruiser. Not cheap. I wasn't sure if I should go with aftermarket so went with Mercruiser. I did see the Mr. Cool coolers online and they were a lot cheaper.

Today I hit the switch multiple times and it just clicked every time. when I hit the emergency switch it started. The batteries seem fine, so I'm thinking that slave solenoid or connection somewhere?

My port ignition switch at the helm is acting up. When the switch is hit, the fuel pump cycles and it clicks, but engine does not turn over. If I hit the switch a few times it will crank motor randomly. So sometimes it cranks, sometimes not. Any thoughts? Thank you!

Same thing happened to me last year. It happened several times even at cruising speed. Took a while to diagnose, but ended up being something electronic under the distributer cap. It was an easy fix for the mechanic once he figured it out.
