Yep, been there ... but that would be a $110 plate for me ... 10 minimum at $7.50 each ($75) plus an apparent setup fee ($35) equals a total of $110 ... ouch!
Folks,
I've got a 1993 27' SeaRay Weekender, and the text on the NMMA Certification Plate (part number C-69 126062) is no longer legible. I would like to replace it with a new one, but I can't find a supplier on the internet, and I'm not close to a SeaRay dealer.
Anyone know where I can get a...
Folks,
Just a clarification ... the broken toggle on the bilge pump switch affected only the manual activation of the bilge pumps ... automatic operation of the bilge pumps continued as designed.
Thanks,
Bob St John
Yep ... removed the broken switch, installed the new switch, and everything works good! No problems other than dealing with the hard to get at and small space to work in.
Trivia ... some of you may know that the toggle switches on this boat are lighted at the end of the toggle, and this boat...
Golfman25 and Bill Curtis ... thanks for your guidance, you put me on the right track towards understanding the dilemma:
1. On the broken switch there are two wires (blue and black) that appeared to be connected to two side-by-side connectors on the bad switch, but there is only one equivalent...
Folks,
I've got a 1993 27' SeaRay Weekender with a broken bilge pump switch (for the engine compartment bilges). I must have leaned against the switch (which is lower left of the steering wheel) and broke the "toggle" part of the switch. I'm attempting to replace the broken switch and ran into...
Hey Larry ... I remember your valuable input from the previous thread. I couldn't find my previous thread, and I now suspect threads "expire" after some period of inactivity on the thread, and that's too bad.
This is what I got from GLBT:
Bob these below are for the oem frames for this canvas...
Folks,
I have a 1993 27' SeaRay Weekender that needed a new canvas top.
Earlier this year, I ordered all pieces of the canvas from Great Lakes Boat Top (GLBT, who is the OEM manufacturer of the canvas top and the SS framework) even though I suspected the SS framework had been altered and that...
Folks,
GLBT has provided the necessary information for me to adjust the non-OEM stainless steel framework on my boat:
The rear supports are measured at 21 1/4 inch in shortest position since they are adjustable.
Our main bow cut length before the ends are put on are 10ft 5in and the 2nd bow...
Joe Zumph (and others, if interested),
Sure ... attached are several pictures of the boat over the years showing the radar arch, and just 'cause I'm showing off, a picture of new gauges I had installed 7 or 8 years ago.
I get frequent positive comments about the configuration with the arch...
Folks,
An interim update ...
First - KevinC and Joe Zumph, thanks so much for your input and guidance above, it has helped me to quickly get additional detail to resolve the problem.
Joe Zumph offers a screenshot (above) from a Sea Ray specifications document for a 1992 Sea Ray Weekender. I...
Joe,
Oh, wow! Not yet 100% sure exactly what your measurements mean, but I will figure that out tomorrow morning.
Please see the attached picture:
#1 - I think of this as the approximately 36" long straight support leg. How long is this "leg" in your OEM canvas configuration?
#2 - I think of...
Mitch,
Yes, I emailed GBLT yesterday, after I discovered the problem. I explained the problem essentially as I described it in this thread and asked for their thoughts on resolution.
I haven't heard back from them yet, but, in my brief experience with them, I anticipate they will respond in...
Thanks Lazy Daze ...
I know that Great Lakes Boat Tops built my OEM canvas based on Sea Ray specifications (without the actual boat in their possession), and I'll bet that some other company built the OEM stainless steel framework based on Sea Ray specifications (also without the actual boat in...
Folks,
I've got a 1993 27' Sea Ray Weekender.
I'm replacing all the canvas covering on the boat. I got lucky and found the OEM canvas manufacturer for the boat ... Great Lakes Boat Tops. They are the OEM boat top manufacturer for Sea Ray and many other boat brands. Give them the boat's hull...
Folks,
I've got a 1993 27' SeaRay Weekender. I'm changing all the incandescent light bulbs to LED (navigation, cabin, etc.) and have a problem/question about the cabin lights that, in my configuration, are in the low "fishing rod storage" area next to the rear-facing seats.
See the attached...
