I haven't touched the oil/gear coolers til this year. Cummins dealer said it was time to replace them. Simply based on years . engine have 1200 hrs . only saw a 5 degree temp drop... Also my engine impellers were 4 yrs old ... they came out pristine looking as did the previous set that again...

The one thing I recommend is either pulling the main stateroom mattress off the platform or putting something like a milk crate underneath to allow air to get under it … I pull the mattress in the salon and lean it on the couch right before its wrapped and all my tubs of Damp rid are in place...

Mine has been broken for two years. The stb side takes a beating during service … (ive replaced it 2 x already ) So ill just be extra cautious Rob

Installed new Helm wheel. I don't like it . Looks great BUT the actual diameter fake burl wood is too small. ITs uncomfortable to grip for long periods of time. Also the spokes aren't polished on the edges. So that is not comfortable to grab . Im spoke holder ( lol ) and apparently I turn from...

Marine max is a train wreck. They completely mismanaged the location... I feel terrible for the sales guys ! they had some great people ! ! Hope they get thru this ok . Marine Max just couldn't run a business. Now Matthew and Paul get it back and will bring it back to life .

NEVER have I heard of a failure related to bromine use. Look at whats in Barnacle buster .. that's some nasty stuff. Bromine would be like the organic equivalent lol … Seriously .. its fine … Not like ur winterizing sealed in the system. Rob

Bromine Boys... after a few years the strainer basket will eventually fail... took 8 years for mine to fail... Never an issue of growth... Rob

Sounds like the compressor is locked up. The compressor is trying to start , when it doesn't the overload opens to release the load. ( hence the light dimming and then getting brighter ) A hard start kit openly avail could help.... Also look for a burned wire. anyting past this … shes done...
