Thank you! The last big trailer I bought the manufacturer was able to measure my boat for an exact fit. That’s not possible this time but I am trying to get as close to an exact fit as I can.

I like the “boat stop” also. It should reduce the chances of the anchor hitting the winch stand. You should check out this video...

Great modifications, I have been thinking an electric winch and jack would be great to have. I am also going to add a ladder to whatever trailer I get. I had a local welding shop put one on my old 260 trailer and I was able to easily launch/retrieve solo.

I keep a floating and telescoping “shorty” boat hook from West Marine in the transom locker.

You might consider adding an all chain rode if you don’t have one already.

Cjameson, Are these pictures what you are looking for? This extended aft Bimini top is part of the camper canvas option (which encloses the cockpit) for the 290 Sundancer.

Thanks, I appreciate your information - it is helpful as I finalize the build specs for the trailer. The boat is on the Arkansas River which is still recovering from recent flooding. So I will need to travel if I am to use the boat at all for the foreseeable future.
