I have a 185 Sport that has always run well. Had it out a couple weeks ago and no issues and put it in the water today and it won't even attempt to crank. I turn the key and alarm sounds but won't even attempt to turn over. All the dash lights and switches work. Radio won't turn on though. Battery is fully charged and didn't get any errors for the battery charger. Any idea what could be the issue?

Start with the obvious. Throttle in neutral. Safety lanyard switch in the "run" position, make sure you didn't accidentally trip the high amp circuit breaker on top of the engine.

Are you really sure? was it load tested? Do the gauges come alive?
locate the slave solenoid and jump the two large lugs , motor should spin.If No, jump the yellow/red wire at the the starters solenoid. motor should spin
If not, check battery, battery cable connection on BOTH ends of the cables

Thanks. I haven't load tested the battery, but all the simple things were checked like (Throttle in neutral. Safety lanyard switch in the "run" position, make sure you didn't accidentally trip the high amp circuit breaker on top of the engine)

I forgot to mention that the motor won't trim either. Going to pull the battery and get it checked next.
