I assume the stock tube tvs are dual voltage? how does the 12v power come in? if I go with a newer NAXA dual voltage, how does the 12v side connect ? what breaker would it be on?

I replaced my old TV in my 330 with the 15" model and it was a perfect fit in the cut out. For 12V I just used a long fused plug and ran it to the TV across the Galley. There is no place to switch it, it's an either or scenario. There is only one 12V input and two cords. One for AC with a converter and one direct 12V cable.

I don't think so....I think they are only 110VAC......unless someone has installed an inverter that takes 12VDC power and converts it to 110VAC power and is activated automatically once AC power is disconnected.....

on our boat (2000 340) the old tube TV was dual voltage. When I switched it out for a 23" HD flat screen I put a dual voltage back in. I don't recall for sure, but I believe it was powered by the 12V "Accessory" breaker.

that is odd....I don't remember seeing a 12V power outlet behind the original TV when I replaced mine....just a 110VAC plug.....i'll have to look again to be sure....

Cliff - you just jarred my memory. You are correct!! my original TV was 110V (VAC), no 12V. I was thinking of a houseboat we had. But, when I put in our new TV, I did put in a dual voltage and I ran the 12VDC "Accessory" circuit over to the TV, so that we could watch when on the hook and not have to run our genset. I seem to recall that the ciruit is served by a 15A breaker. Sorry for any confusion, and thanks Cliff for the correction.
