Oh yeah ..she ran so much better on the ocean than the river. Can't wait to go back. While on the water I didn't see a single inboard. Theres some you know along the road for sale but not many.

I was there during the same time. You are correct about owning a IO in the keys. I have a 88 s24 sorrento with a 5.7 and alpha drive. Good luck finding parts for a IO in the keys. I learned to pack a bunch of extra parts when i go. If ya need something it has to be shipped from miami at double the price. Only mercruiser part store is MARKYS marine in islamorada.

Wheres this at? That looks like where we stayed one nite. Theres a tiki bar by the bridge. Theirs always napa for engine parts for our boats in a pinch. I have extra hoses and spark plugs and a spare prop. It was extremely nice down there.!

Thats at bahia honda. Its across from the food hut left of the entrance to the marina where you launch. And yes napa is 1 choice. I had to replace a water pump this year and they were the only one that had it. Im talking aboit anything marine. Like a riser, riser boot, shift cable and such. Ya know thats the stupid shit that always breaks when your 1,320 miles from home

Oh duhhh.. I think I remember that boat.. do you remember seeing mine . It was parked up in front of the Ramos hooked to a red and white f250.

Yes i do. Love the older boats. Just shows that sea rays bever die. These are some of my favorite from the keys. Sombrero reef, monkey key off the 7 mile bridge and bahia honda beach ocean side.

Hey....I had that exact same boat. 1988 in the brown color.

I picked this gem up in 2016 for chump change. Had sat for 4 years under shrink wrap. Unfortunately 3 raccoons decided make home under the motor and eat all the vinyl. Spent the winter re doing the entire cockpot and love this boat. Has a 5.7 and moves through the water. As you can see i modified the back to make it a larger sun deck
