after many years of rebuilding my project, finally seeing the end of the tunnel.
Bought it at auction sight unseen -knew it had bad transom- for less than the trailer was worth. And after rebuilding transom (rotten), stringers (rotten), foam (water logged), floor (rotten), seats (rotten), upholstery ( nasty and red), engine (water in it), out drive ( new impeller and ram), gas tank and hoses, and sewed a new top and Windows it is finally running pretty good. So if I can share any of my many mistakes and learning experience, glad to give my 2 cents on a mercruiser 140 of that era. Currently bobbing around Lake Minnetonka, mn .
