Hello, any help would be appreciated. I bought an 86 390 Sportfish and the fuel lines were stripped out during a remodel I suppose. Anyone have a diagram or photos I could go off of to reinstall??? Help!! Thanks

Are you saying the fuel lines are missing? is the fuel crossover manifold still there? Are the tank mounted fuel filters still there?

Oh, I assure you it’s no trick question. The manifold is there, every line from the tanks to the manifold is gone and all
Of the filters and housings are gone. I’m no
Marine mechanic but I’m able to run lines and install filters with a little visual help.

So no filters, no lines I assume then that you bought a non running boat. Are the fuel lines from the manifold to the engines there.

I did indeed buy a non running boat. No filters, housing or lines on any part of the fuel system are present. Manifold is there. I’ve bought lines, fittings, new housings and filters. Now I need to know which hose goes where. Where does this line go on the manifold? Where do the generator fuel lines tie in??? If I had a photo of a 4 tank system or a diagram, I could do this. Just needed some help. Thanks

Unfortunately my 290 Amberjack only has two tanks and no fuel manifold - although I intend to add one shortly. If it's any help, my fuel filters are mounted on the top of the tanks with suction lines extending horizontally for a couple of inches, then 90 down into the tank - one on each tank (100 gal). The output of the filter went directly to the engine. I have seen a diagram for a SeaRay fuel manifold somewhere - just got to find it again.

My plan is to add a low pressure electric fuel pump on each tank feeding a manifold which will allow isolated, direct feed port tank to port engine, or a cross feed so I can feed either tank to either or both engines. My goal is to able to isolate a contaminated fuel tank - and still feed both engines from the good one. Or in the event of an engine failure, be able to feed the remaining good engine from either tank.

If you want, PM me the details of your manifold - haven't found one yet for my boat. Be happy to look at it and suggest a plumping schematic, if I can't find the OEM schematic that I know I've seen somewhere - not that complex.

    Regards

War Eagle, I own a 1986 Sportfish (aka Sedan Bridge) with 454s. I found three pictures, one of which shows the back of the manifold. They aren't exceptionally clear but all were taken from between the engines, looking aft. One shot is towards the port quarter, one the back manifold (centerline) and one towards the starboard quarter. Still need them?

All pictures looking aft, between the engines. The top picture looks toward the starboard, middle down the center and bottom looking to port. Sorry no pictures of the port fuel filters. There are three manifold valves. Center valve is for the generator. Hope that helps.
