1988 Sorrento S23 Bow Side Panel Restoration

Hello everyone! I’m hoping someone might be able to help me with the bow side panel fabrication. I’m having trouble with the corners. I did not have the old ones to use as a template because they were rotted beyond recognition. Has anyone ever reupholstered these? I have fabricated the backrest and sun pad which looks great but having issues with the obtuse

angles of the side panels and how they are constructed. This is close but not as good as I would like. Please see pics of my project. I just picked this boat up and I love it!

I did, thanks. Still work to do but having fun this summer so far. The bow side panels are in but not perfect. I’ll be taking those to an upholsterer this winter. If you need any guidance on anything in the seating area and sun deck let me know.

Here’s some from this summers adventure. After a month and a half in the shop, reupholstery isn’t in the cards. Some I’m temp redoing ours just to give a little life to it.

Dig the cup holders you mounted in the bench cushions. That’s a great idea.
