Can I get help with switch location? how are the underwater lights (under the swim platform) turned on and off? Where is the switch? thanks

So in 1989, there were no under water lights. So if your boat has then they were recently installed, compared to the age of the boat that is. Yout best bet is to trace the wires coming through the transom and find it that way.

Im guessing youve turned on every switch on the helm and the lights do not come on? If any switches turn nothing on and the noted purpose of the switch is not clear, then concentrate on that switch(s). Could be the lights are bad or the switch has blown fuse or tripped breaker.

First welcome to CSR. Karen I know that if I ever install I would tie it into the cockpit lighting. I know that my helm switch panel has a blank spot that is marked as “engine room lights” maybe the PO put it there.

would this happen to be Karen from Tennessee? She was a member here for years and we lost touch.

Thanks for input. We love Tenn - but no, NC

Yup - tried them all. I would have thought they were tied to dash or cockpit lights but nothing. No power at the lights so maybe there is some fuse inline somewhere

Karen sounds as it you are going to have to back trace the wires from the stern to the helm to find the switch then check the switch as Wylie had posted earlier. It would be a new looking switch compared to our older SeaRay switches from the 80’s I also wonder if the PO placed the switch near the stern on the boat but again tracing those wires will tell you that.

keep us posted

Found it - after market install. switch was wired to ACC :(
