Hello everyone I'm new to this forum, I have found great information. I own a 1989 390 EC with (2) 7.4L Mercs Bluewater for the past 3 years. Doing the normal servicing every year, there are three fuel filters located next to fuel tanks, 2 for the engines, 1 for the generator. i can't find any information on what type of filter size it is or manufacture. So far all i have is the Sea Ray parts list with this number "140343 remote gas fuel filter". I have looked just about everywhere. If any of you have replaced them please let me know the manufacture and part number or the after market replacement. Thank you all!!

Tony,
I’m pretty sure they would be the same as what were on my 1990 with same motors....they take a NAPA/WIX 33110 paper filter. I have changed mine to the same spin off filter that I use on the motors.
Rick

I removed mine and installed Racor filters. Much better filtration and easier access.

Awesome! thank you so much. The markings on the housing have been rusted off so I couldn't see anything.
Once I get "The Big Girl" home I will change them. The housing should spin right off correct?

It’s been awhile since I’ve had them if I remember right the bottom bolt drains them and the top bolt releases the canister....I think.
Rick

Your housing is not a spin off. There is a bolt located on the top of the filter that you need to loosen and the housing will drop straight down. The filter should come with new o-rings you need to replace as well.

I think you're correct, I do remember somewhere on this forum someone had a problem removing the housing and another member mentioned the two screws. it was a awhile ago.
Thanks again!!!

I just ordered them and they do come with 3 O-rings, two small, one large.
thanks again guys! Have a great night!

Soon she'll be home at My back yard!
