Hello Folks - Looking for recommendations concerning A/C for my 1990 Sea Ray Express Cruiser. It is not a retrofit but a new installation as it was never equipped from the factory. Looking for recommendations re: manufactures, BTUs (I am thinking 10,000), as well as sources to purchase and prices others paid for said units. Just looking for the actual units, as I will source the install kit separately. I am in Windsor, Ontario, Canada so have pretty good acess to the US maket as well, so either US or Canadian sources work for me. Thanks!

Just dont oversize the unit, with ac bigger is not better. If to big it will cool but short cycle and not remove humidity.

Thanks - I have done all the appropriate measurements and I feel the 10,000 BTU is appropriate. If a tad too cold I imagine I could use the thermostat to raise the temp a bit. Can't have it cycling either for that matter, as the factory (and after the fact location) for this unit is under the sleeping area at the base of the bed.

If it's going under the bed, I will recommend Webasto units. We just put one in, it is so quiet, the only way we know the compressor is running is the air gets colder or warmer.
