Need help on the following:
When I fill my Fresh tank full( running over fill port) I get water next to steps- not immediately but after some time. If I keep it less than full no problem.
Waste tank:
My gauges( lights on panel aren't working except for the empty..) how do I find the problem?
Thanks

Id say for the fresh water tank you have a crack somewhere in either the tank or the fill hose. Once filled to the level of the crack you get the water near the steps. Pressure test the tank to find the leak.

Waste tank issue is either the sender at the tank has gone bad or are in need of cleaning, or the bulbs at the panel have blown and are no longer displaying the signal sent by the sender. To test:

Empty waste tank
Remove the bulbs from the back of the panel
Slowly fill the tank with water
Use multi meter to measure the current being sent to each of the bulbs as the tank fills.

Honestly, if it was me I'd just replace the bulbs in the display panel, if they still don't work it's the sender in the tank. Clean or replace.

I had an issue with a 95 330. I was getting water in a compartment under the back berth by the steps. Not every time I filled the tank. So I dug into the tank and sure enough the top of the tank where the hoses went into the tank was broke. Purchased a plastic welder and resealed it. Worked fine after that. No more water leaking. I learned do not put a hose in your water tank and just let it run. The pressure build up when the tank gets full will break the tank. I would dig under the berth to see if you have a cracked tank.
