I am putting my 1996 370 Sundancer up for sale and if you know of anyone looking for a great boat this size please reach out to me. I purchased a larger vessel and had my 370 sold to a neighbor at my marina but they sadly had to cancel the purchase yesterday with the short term issues we are having in our economy. We love this boat and it is in excellent shape, completely updated throughout. I even had Florida Bow Thrusters install Vetus bow and stern thrusters about 3 years ago to save the marriage! I thought that would be cheaper then the divorce... :)

Actually some of you might remember this boat. I purchased it from WolfTC who is a big contributor on this site. If you search for his posts in the 370 sundancer forum on here you will see most of the things that were done to this boat (NMEA2k Backbone, newer electronics with 4K radar, best stereo system in the marina, new galley flooring, updated fridges, etc). After my purchase from I added the thrusters, a new Camper style canvas in 2019 and a few other items like smart tv's etc. I am asking $90K so let me know if you are interested, the boat is currently located in bay City MI. Again it has been a tremendous boat and I am going to miss her but I would like to do some extended traveling within the next couple years so I am moving to a diesel. Sorry about the pictures... With the Covid-19 issues my heated storage building is closed until the 14th of April so I can only show pictures that I have available.

Looks like a beautiful 370! Even with the virus thing, I don't think you'll have much problems selling. All the best.

Nice looking boat and nice upgrades. Best of luck with the sale. Might I ask what your next boat will be?
We get up to your neck of the woods, usually once a summer. Hitting Port Austin this year for the 4th of July.

Nice looking boat. I’m in the market. Sold my 3470 Cruisers over winter....looking for something larger with inboards. I’ve been searching all over....not much out there in good condition in my size and price range (100k max...38ft min). Just looked at one in person but was disappointed. I guess the seller and I have a different opinion of what good condition is. Anyway...how many hours are on motors and generator? Are all systems operational? Any more pics? I know you said pics are limited due to storage but just thought I’d ask. Feel free to PM. Thank you.

I was in Port Austin last year for the 4th and we made reservations this year also. That is a great marina! Maybe we will see you there. I am purchasing a Cruisers Yacht 420 Express with the bigger 600 Diesels. I am a little afraid because I have never had an issues with this boat and getting something different is always a little stressful. We went on a 700 mile trip last year from Bay City to Traverse City and we are looking at doing that more often. Having diesels might be a little overkill right now but in a few years when we retire we hope it will be worth it.

If you're at the $100k range there should be plenty of well maintained boats out there. Especially if you're okay with gas engines.

Perhaps broaden your search grid. 37-41' Sea Rays in the mid/late 90's can be had, even exclusive fresh water, for sub $100k.

The OP's boat looks very, very nice. Priced toward the top, but for what looks like all the right reasons.

Dorrwalter, I thought one of the pics you posted was at Port Austin. We were there last year for the 4th as well, at the end of the dock. We will keep an eye out for you this upcoming 4th.
I think you will love the diesel power, good luck with the 370 sale. It looks really nice and I think it will move quickly.

I do not have the exact hours but I know in July of 2019 we had 814 hours on her. My guess would be around 850. Here is a photo of the chartplotter with the NMEA2k that shows the hours in July. Yes, Nothing at all is wrong with engines or generator. Besides my normal yearly maintenance (oil changes, filters water seps, etc), I did a full service update (wires, distributor cap, plugs, impellers, etc) just last spring before a long summer trip we did. Very clean engine room! I will do some searching to see what other photos I can come up with. Don't worry about the swing thing... LOL. That is what I temporarily put up for my granddaughter who was on the boat for the day.

Here are some pictures of Florida Bow Thrusters installing the bow thruster. It was a little scary seeing a huge hole being drilled through the bow of your boat...

Beautiful boat. I've owned a bunch of boats, and my 370 was one of my favorites. Great layout, always reliable, fantastic boat.

Best wishes on your sale, she's a beauty with outstanding upgrades, especially the NMEA.

It is great to hear from you! We were going to head to your marina for a day but got stuck in Northport for 3 days because of the weather. Yes, let's plan on getting together this summer. We should be at Mack City and the Island late July so I will let you know. We are going to miss this boat. You treated it well and we made sure we kept up the maintenance and did a few improvements that we hope will make the next owner proud.

Very nice boat. I have been looking on and off again. Recently decided the 37 is the right size for me. Any idea on cost of shipping to South Florida?
