1997 400 Sundancer w/ diesels, Lake Erie

Thanks for all the comments and advice! I put the deposit down on the next boat already, so I'm just getting nervous about owning two boats, if even for a short time.

I bought my boat in the winter of 2016 right about this time with contingencies on a sea trial and survey. The boat was inside heated storage so the survey was done right away. I sold my 310 in February 16' with same contingencies. The thing about me was I knew what I wanted and had researched the 99' Sundancer for a few years. For me I was pretty dead set on 99' and had a broker already looking so when it popped up I jumped on it and made an offer immediately ($110,000). I think as it gets closer to the season you will get the offers coming in. I don't think you're out of line with your price. I actually talked to my broker last season about another upgrade and he said mine would probably sell for about $107,000 (gas with 500 hrs.). Good luck Z and be as patient as you can.

Gentleman, we closed on our Sunseeker last week. So I’m officially a two boat owner and it’s less than ideal, lol. I’m down to $110,900 and I’m offering a $1,000 “finder’s fee” upon closing to anyone who brings me a buyer. If the person who eventually buys this boat mentions someone on this forum by name as the person who put them on my boat, I’ll reach out and get your mailing address and send you a check. If you have friends or dock neighbors in the market, send them my way! I can provide the survey from last fall to anyone interested.

A number of brokers I’ve spoken to want exclusive listings and they want to list around $120k-$124k. I just want it gone. Spread the word!
