1997 or 1998 175ser

I am purchasing a boat from my Inlaws. Title says it is a searay 175 series br 1998. Last 2 digits of id number are 98. NADA says 97 was last year 175 was made..If you look at 98, no 175....they start at 180.....so bank wont lend since they cannot verify nada? Anyone dealt with this before?

A third-party publication is wrong? Nah, say it ain't so! Titles can be wrong, too.

It could be one of the last 175's to roll off the line and was deemed a '98, right before the 180's started. But, look at the HIN on the boat (and model info below it). And/or post a picture of the boat.
