I have a 2000 Sea Ray 310 DA - looking to do a Camperback and i have a few questions to those who have gone down this route.

1. How do you get quick access to the bow via the gunnel? I do not have a walk-thru windshield and when I'm on the hook I like to now I can get to the bow in case of any issues with the anchor.

2. Occasionally we'll sleep 8 with a couple occupying the Aft sun-lounge as a berth. The wife believes all canvas and screens when the canvas windows are opened would be better than plastic and screens. Has anyone else done this?

3. Recommendations on how best to remove or fold for the rare fishing trip? Should I be asking to fold against the radar arch?

If anyone has pictures they can share of their camperback and design choices I'd appreciate so the wife and I could get some ideas.
Thanks
Regards,
Art

Not sure if you can see the detail but to get to the gunwhales, I had the install zippers in both the isenglass and the screens so it is an easy unzip and snap to the aft vertical support to get out. The admiral has this unzipped and ready to head out in probably 10 seconds.

on mine, the prior owner had extra zippers put along the top of the camper canvas panels and had privacy curtains made out of sunbrella. so the eisenglass/screen combos are one piece, and there is a fully detachable privacy curtain that I can zip in on the inside. They just attach at the top and hang down.

I just signed an order for a full set of glass and canvas including a Camperback to be installed in the spring.
For the camperback, the sides and back curtains will have screens with zippered plastic openings and a rollup privacy panel of matching canvas.
For the front, 5 plastic panels (3 front, 2 sides). The front 3 panels will have "frowns" (upside-down U's) with the center panel having a screen. The 2 sides will have zippered "U" openings the width of the side panel with screens.
My goal is to eliminate handing out flyswatters as we pass through the green fly swarms by riding with only the screened windows opened. I've never seen screens in the front, but I'm giving it a shot. It's only he center panel and I figure I can always cut the screen away if I find it's not practical.
