Can anyone provide a vector here? I have a 2001 Sundancer 280 and the cabin door was difficult to slide back and forth. It sqeaked loudly and just wasn't mving freely. I though maybe the top and bottom rail tracks, bushings, and bearings need to be replaced. So I purchased new ones and then took on the rather lengthy task of removing the right windshield and the helm (complete with disconecting all wires and steering. This allowed me access to remove the old rail tracks and afix new ones. Upon removing the old ones I discovered a previous owner had done this before (there were multiple new holes drilled into channel where new rails go). Anyway I lined them both up and replaced them. Now the door is wose. The door does not rub on anything and the bushings in the top rail are properly placed. It sucks. My wife cannot open or close the door. it should roll freely and surely does not. HELP! Thanks! Pete Martin

I have 1999 260 and cabin door is hard to slide. I was considering the fix you describe but after reading your post I am reluctant. What is worse than not fixing is fixing and still does not work..
Keep us posted on what you find. Thanks.
