Looking at buying this boat. The boat is in immaculate condition and is being sold by the original owner. 700 hours on the engine. Trailer is included. Is this a lot? Asking price is $49,900. Currently own a 24' Chaparral and looking to upgrade. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.

In Florida, really clean 2005 300s with gen are selling in the low 50s. In RI the same boat seems to bring mid to high 50s....49k for an '02 with 700 hrs seems a little high to me....but if it's a super clean freshwater boat with service records and clean dives it could be worth it.

Where are you finding the boats you mentioned at that price?

Yachtworld sold results - boats over 10 years old are often harder to finance and insure (all Marine max locations no longer take any boats over 10 years old on trade) even if you're not financing, it effects the value - as much as I'd like to think my '05 is worth 70k.......it's not - sundance marine had a perfect one (loaded, blue hull, 350hrs, immaculate in and out) that sold for 52kri

Looking at it again - you say it has a trailer.....that adds a lot to the deal......could be worth 5-8k.....that puts the boat at 42-45k - again, if everything is up to date (manifolds, Canvas nice, bellows, etc), it's probably a good deal
