I have a 2003 200 bowrider. Last year I starting getting 2 audible alarms after a couple of minutes once the engine was running. I got a Sea Ray mechanic do a test and he told me it was some type of idle swith. After months the guy never repaired my boat. Sometimes the engine will stall after the alarms sound. Other times it seems to run fine and the alarms are more of a nusience than anything. Any advice? How easy is it to repair if I had the correct part?

I have a 2005: 200 Sun Deck the problem.

I have a friend that has a 2002 220 and he had the same problem. He had his repaired and he trying to find a part # for me. If he finds it I'll let you know.

What engine package do you have? I had the same problem and it was an idle air control (iac) valve. It is a black cylindrical thingy about 3 inches long and it bolts on top of the engine manifold in front of the air filter with 2 allen head bolts and an electrical wire and clip connection. I was able to change it myself and the part should cost between $50 and $100.
