ist not significant but it sits about an Inch deeper in the water with the port side ,without anybody onboard and no gear / refrigator empty .

is it normal for a 240 without genset and wastetank ( only sanipottie )
or do i have to look for hidden water ?

generally the boat seems to have several false floors ( port and stbd engine bay , under the fwd watertank, bilge below entry steps ) - is there a way to check These Areas for water without Drilling ?

best regards

My 2000 240 sits about an inch low on the starboard side......

what Setup do you have ? ( Position of the batteries etc. ) do you have a flushing toilet with wastetank ?

Batteries, vacu flush and waste tank all on starboard side. Water heater and fridge on port

My 2000 240 lists about an inch to the starboard side as well. Figured it was due to the weight of the batteries, hadn't been too concerned with it, but it will be interesting to see the possibilities people post up. Once I install my A/C on the starboard side of the aft cabin it will be interesting to see if that makes a difference at all.

My 06 has water heater, batteries, a/c 120 volt pump, a/c strainer, fridge, microwave on the port side.
Starboard side is the drive trim pump, vaccu flush pump and tank, toilet, battery charger, a/c, cooler under the wet bar. Gas tank is center line, water tank is center line.
My boat seems to float level, but I load the storage areas under the v-berth with trim in mind.

I keep tools, spare parts, and fenders under the wet bar, instead of the cooler.

ok, interesting that older 24da,s have the batteries stbd and the newer port side . i guess since i do not have vacuflush and wastetank some weight on stbd is missing and so a slight portlist is "normal"

i try to distribute my gear / tools on stbd , under the v berths or below the wetbar ( i also removed the cooler and use the space for gear )

gents - where do you keep your aft table when not in use ( the round one , not the one below the v berths. ?

There should be storage under your cockpit cabinet for it. Mine is there but it's a 2000 without a wet bar
