Why would a low hour boat have low compression numbers compared to a new engine? What's the story on less than 27 hours per year? Do you believe the hours?

It's a marina queen, genny only has 355 hrs...…….

I would question the yard as to how they are performing compression test not all of them know exactly how to do a proper test and It can drastically affect the results

And why would low hours mean low compression? Leak down test would tell you a lot about valves and rings. It would be best to see it performed so you could see the readings as they happen and listen.
