One of the party functions that our club has every year is called the Pizza Pigout. It's a chance for everyone to raft up, enjoy each other's company and hang out. One of the members of the club owns a pizza franchise. They take orders for pizzas, collect the money then the pizzas are delivered to the boats. Pretty slick idea.

This year there were about 45-50 boats involved, ~150-175 people, a hot day (100*) with zero winds or clouds.

It's been a great summer so far!

Home Port - Clear Lake in Kemah, TX
Great sunrises and sunsets daily. (May have something to do with refinery emissions, but pretty none the less...)





Sunsets equally nice in the channel out on the lake...


Nightlife in Kemah is great, fireworks every friday night in June/July. We'd drop the hook just off the boardwalk and watch the display (Along with several hundred other boats!)


Galveston Island nearby. If I had their air horns mounted, I'd go backwards in the water with every blast!


Rafted up with friends off Moody Gardens in Galveston (we're the little 280DA to the far left...)


Did a Memorial weekend trip with the Texas Mariners Cruising Association (TMCA) from Kemah to Port Arthur, TX. It was about a 100 mile trip up the ditch to the LA/TX border with about 85 other boats. Great trip, left at dawn, spent a lot of time with a lot of great boaters, good food, drink, dance. and a fun trip back once the weather broke for a bit. (we were one of the last two or three boats to leave port to return home)

Spent the weekend in cobourg Ontario after crossing the lake early Friday morning. Here's a couple out on open water.

Join Shutterfly and upload your pics. Right click on the relevant pic in Shutterfly and copy the image address - i found you need to expand the pic (double click) in order to perform the copy image address function. Click on the "image" icon in your clubsearay forum post toolbar (next to smiley face) and past the image address previously copied..... and your done.

IIRC your avatar pics and sig pics can be lifted straight from your computer without the need to use Shutterfly or similar.

We spent last Saturday night on the boat then took out some kids and grandkids on Sunday. Here's a photo my daughter shot while the kids were fishing....

spent the night at shattamuc yacht club in ossening NY

. great small club. got to squeak in the last day of the open pool which felt like a hot august day. had a slip on the outside wall with the stern facing the Hudson... talk about a gorgeous back yard! had a stellar sunset. misty / foggy sunday morn to have coffee... turned in to a sunny scorcher.
