2017 SLX Electronics not working

I got 17 280 SLX today and of course marinemax didn't give me any info or instructions on it at all so here I am hoping someone can explain the battery switch to me.
(my last boat was the sundeck 240 so the battery switch is totally different)

There is a swith next to the 2 batteries that I am keeping in the "remote" side
There is a battery switch next to the steering column but I am not sure what that is suppoised to do.

I cannot get any electronics to work so I would think I am doing something wrong. (they were working when I drove the boat a few hours ago from the marina)

Can someone tell me what position the batter switch should be in and should I turn off this switch to teh other position and what is the battery swtich at the helm for?

How about marine max taking time to do a walk through? Seems you were thrown to the wolves.

I have 2016 slx280. On my 2016 model you should turn the yellow switch towards the driver seat when wanting to use boat. When your done turn the switch on dash down (I believe) you will see screen go off and turn you yellow switch backwards (towards prop) when done. Do this every time.. is what I was told
