Does any one have an idea where the water coming from?
Boat are on land so the only water is from rain.
It have been a couple of rainy days here. 3days ago I get 0,8 gallon out.
Yesterday I get 0,53 gallon out and to day I probably have 0,50 gallon again.

First picture show inside starboard side where I can se water coming in.

Second picture same spot but from out side.

I also had water at port side but not to day after I put duct tape over engine room ventilation.

Based on your photo my guess would be that it is coming in from under the rub rail at the hull to deck joint in that corner. Not entirely unusual for a rub rail to need resealing. It normally requires removing it - attempting to seal the outside of the rub rail with caulking isn't very effective.

My first thought - "many places" :):)

You can have water get in there from the seam around the radar arch, your windshield, from inside the radar arch (from gaps existing around the items mounted on top), several others. If the wind is blowing you can easily get it under your canvas sides too, depending on how tightly it snaps?

I don't think it's possible for rain to come in via the rubrail? My understanding is that the hull and top deck joint form a "shoebox" fit. There is an overlap from the topside. Perhaps that's internet lore, however, I've never seen the joint exposed myself.

I've seen them leak myself so I know it can happen, and a surprising amount of water at that. But you are correct, there are a myriad of places for water to get in and often it's something very small that will let in a lot of water.

The best bet is often to get out the garden hose, moving very slowly across suspected areas to give time for water to move. Have someone inside to tell you when they see moisture.

Thanks everyone so far!
Starting to lose the rub rail. The plastic one is it just fixed with screw or is it any type of glue/sealing also?

I don’t now what Sea Ray have done but it’s lot’s of holes behind the rub rail.

Highliner, if the screws holding the rubrail don't penetrate through the hull, how would he get water intrusion under the rubrail? Not an argument by any means, I'm just wondering aloud. Could water be puddling on the swim platform and backing up into the hull and top deck joint gap? Of course there are a shit ton of holes under there that rub rail. Good grief. If looks like it was shot with a shotgun but in a linear pattern. Mike

I assume the water would come through the screws holding the two halves together. These would penetrate the hull I believe. On my previous boat I had water coming in on one side of the cabin during a rain. I removed the rub rail and the screws under it, sealed everything up with 4200 including the screws and buttoned it back up again. It solved my issue.

It was the last thing I tried in a series of repairs trying to track down the leak. It was quite frustrating.

I sealed all holes under the rub rail and now there is no water in the engine compartment after rain. :)
