I hope this thread isn't dead.... I learned a ton by reading past posts and will have a few questions and reports going forward.

I too just bought a 2007 260 DA. We've had it out once so far and are looking forward to many trips exploring Puget Sound area. So far, we've done a lot of maintenance and a few updates. Once this shower sump is replaced, we're ready for some trips.

Actually, it was fairly easy to remove even though there is very little work space in the step hole. Hopefully the new one goes in smoothly.

got it in and good to go. Only problem I ran into was one of the drain lines was really hard to go on one of the fittings. After hearing it up for a minute I was able to get it to slide on.

Has anyone purchased a full cover for their 260? Looking for an additional layer of protection when it’s sitting in the slip while we are away. The spider poop is just too much to deal with.

I got a full cover for my 96 250DA from coveranything.com. Custom fit and i believe in 3 different grades(types) of material and several colors.

I’ve searched the various threads, but was hoping to get an updated opinion on the topic of the subwoofer upgrade.

Has anyone added a subwoofer to the factory area on the 2007 260DA without sealing the area and had good or bad results? I would like to add a 10” sub there for some improved base response, but I’m not concerned about being the booming boat. I just want to enjoy some improved lows while relaxing.

Any input would be appreciated!

I installed an alpine 10” infinite baffle sub in my boat, and it’s pretty decent with a 300 watt rms amp pushing it
