The wife and I are ready to buy, and are looking at the larger 290 and 300 sundecks. There don't seem to be many threads or owner reviews on these. Am I missing something? They check all of the boxes for us, but was curious as to why I can't find more information on them.

Probably just not a whole lot of them out there. Sales of those certainly don't compare to 18' bowriders. Plus, how many people actually do reviews? It's not like every person that owns a boat does a review... in fact, it's probably a small percentage. Let's say 10% of owners do a review (where does one even do a review?). 10% of a small number of owners is a very small number.

If you and your wife like it... and it's mechanically sound, is in aesthetically pleasing shape and performs to your liking... does it really matter what someone else thinks? :)

Good day! We just purchased a 2007 290SLX three weeks ago. Perfect boat for us. Did not want a cabin and needed to have many people (10+) aboard comfortably. We love the large head, the windlass, fridge, three coolers and huge extended swim platform.

I have a smaller 220 Sundeck, love it. The layout is far better than any of the other bow riders of similar vintage.

Best I can tell, the 270 Sundeck is the biggest one that can be towed without a substantial upgrade in tow vehicle and without special tow permits in some states.

there are a number of folks on here with the bigger sundecks. They seem popular for those with ocean access or the Great Lakes. I bought mine out of Florida, the PO wanted to get a bigger Sundeck to handle some bigger waves.
