I did have a couple of spots damaged where I left a black dock line laying and a black water hose in another in the hot sun. I purchased two replacement pieces that I have to install this spring... they sold them to me at a discount. I know now not to leave these types of items laying around.

Easy to clean... we have found that liquid Dawn does best.

They already have the template for our boat.

Thanks for starting this thread. ..purchased a 2012 310, last year with 100 hrs. 3 year warranty to boot. Seems to be the right size for me and the wife for now and a great beginner boat to cut your teeth on, especially on...how to back it into the parking spot....
Overall no issues, upgrade to multi color led lights in cab, removed all carpet and installed teak throughout, new speakers, and few other minor gadgets..... def a lot of fun.

I'm glad you're enjoying your new boat!

The 2012 310 is actually the old 290... in 2010 the re-branded the 310 like mine, to 330.

The title of this thread should be "310 Sundancer Thread (2007 to 2009 & 2010 - 2013 330)"... but you're certainly welcome to participate here!

Thanks again, question, at the helm, why 2 pieces instead of one?

I'm not sure... I'm thinking it was just one piece, but sure does look like two. I'll have to check when I get back to the boat.

I just emailed Aqua Marine and they shared the template and it looks like 2 pieces, just wonder why? if it was your choice or a manufacturing process.

They are coming just below Seadeck, and if you are good with quality, looks like I'll be ordering these soon (when it get warmer here!!!)

Yes, I just looked at the template they sent me and it does show two pieces. It must be a mistake from the original template maker... it does not have to be two pieces. Certainly not the hardest one to put down. You might ask them if they can do it in one piece and re-stripe it.

Very happy with mine and the service from Aqua Marine Deck.

I'm looking to add a couple of fishing Rod Holders and noticed that some 310 have them. when shopping to rod Holders, i noticed they are long, but looking at the outside of the boat, they will look like they will show from the outside. anyone attempted to install Rod holders? pictures?

I installed two rod holders in the factory option locations (rear gunwales) for rear support of a sun shade. Placement and rod holder angle is critical as the rod holder needs to align with the engine room vent structure. Specifically, the rod holders descend in the cavities created where the vertical vanes in the vents are.

thank You for the feedback. Do you recall the Rod Holders angle? I found the part number from the parts manual, but could not find them online. Which Rod holders did you get?

I originally used a relatively inexpensive brand that, due to the stresses of the sun shade poles, began to separate at the welds after a season. I replaced them with CE Smith 15 degree flush mount holders and have had no problems (4 seasons). Drilling the holes is the most difficult due to (lack of) access underneath the gunwale. Placement is critical and it's tough to find a reliable reference point due to the curves/non-flat surfaces. Also, if you use the angled holders, you have to ensure you angle the hole (not easy with a hole saw unless you use a long pilot bit) or use a slightly oversized hole saw to account for the additional clearance required. Lastly, know that this area of the boat is well-built--expect to find .75 to 1+" of material to drill through.

I can provide pics if helpful...?

Thanks again, pictures would be fantastic. I get your point on drilling at an angle, and thanks for the heads up on how thick the material is. How did you pin point the location? i kinda of know its at the rear of the gunnels (from photos) but have not see one close enough to determine. You also answered my second question, access from below. Since there is no access, make the pinpointing the location really tough. I was hoping to go from below or the outside and drill a pilot hole inside out, but i guess that may not be possible.

After much measuring and re-measuring, I drilled a small pilot hole from the topside that would allow me to confirm relative location from the underside. I have stern-drives so I can position myself in a such a way as to 'see' from bottom from inside the ER--but not able to drill from there. I'm not certain this is a possibility with V-drives.

Once I confirmed location visually from the bottom, I drilled the 'big' hole with the hole saw.

I'll take a few pics for you when I get home today that'll hopefully will help get you close to the drill spot. I remember scouring the net looking at every 310 for sale that had factory holders in efforts to have a starting point for placing them. I'll gladly try to help someone avoid that exercise...

As requested, rod holder pics. Please excuse the old silicone that needs cleaning...and the rotation--iphone pics are not well understood by the forum software it seems.

thank you for putting a tape measure. Looks like 12.5" inches where I should drill the pilot hole. This is awesome, great to have the boat stored in the garage!!!

For further reference, the holders descend into the rear-most ER vent "vane". You could conceivably install them farther forward in the next "vane" but because ours are used strictly for sun shade poles, I wanted them as far aft as practical.

And yes, the garage is a luxury that makes it much easier to spend more $ on boat projects...year round!

stephenm27...regarding your iPhone pics: All you need to do to control the rotation is to ever so slightly crop them, and they'll download just like they look on your phone.

    Great info, thanks!

Just noticed they render correctly when forum is viewed on iPads and iPhones but not MacOS nor Windows. Will crop from now on to ensure no probs...

looking at updating the TVs - Vbirth one was easy ( i will post pictures), however the main Salon is a bit harder. I could not find where the power for the TV is coming from? i tried to disassemble the where the Clarion is mount about the electric panel, but i could not pull it out as the CD changer was in the way - any clues on how to take it out? Also, when i do take the clarion, DVD player out, how do you plug the wholes?

BTW, pulling all DVD players and all the cabling associated ...etc, if anyone is interested, let me know.
