The ac outlets in the galley of my 2000 380AC are not working. The includes the coffee maker outlet. There is a breaker switch for "Galley Functions" (I think that is how it labeled). Are these switches themselves the actual breaker for the circuit? Is there a reset on the back of the switch or behind the panel? Easy to source a replacement switch for replacement? TIA

Check for a GFCI outlet tripped. I would check the head medicine closet or outlet in the head first (going from memory).

My bet is a tripped GFI outlet. Your boat probably has at least 2 or 3.

They are wired in parallel. So if you try to reset one and it will not reset, look for another one and if tripped, reset that one and then go back to the first one you found and should now reset. Been there - done that, was a bit confusing at first. Least that is how our 06 340 is set up.

Should have stated in the original post, no GFI outlets on the boat that I have found. Outlets in fwd and aft staterooms are working. Will do some more searching when back on the boat.

Look really hard. SR tends to hide them really well. Maybe someone w iij th same year n model will pipe in with where to look for them. Most of us have at least 2.

You definitely have GFCI's.

Take a look in the places guys have suggested - along with that link. But I would think you have at least 2, if not 3. Typically one in the head, one around the galley and then possibly another hidden in a cabinet somewhere.

You might even find this discussed in your manual - which can be downloaded from SR's site. If yours isn't there, look to a different year - or even a different model as it will be pretty close, if not dead on for this issue.

The next step would be to check proper operation of the breaker with power on the line and load side.

Reviewing my owners manual it looks like there is a GFI in a galley cabinet below the forward 120v ac outlet. The outlets that are served by the GFI (2 galley outlets and the coffee maker outlet) are exactly the ones that are not working. I will find and reset the GFI when I am down on the boat in a couple weeks. Thanks for the help and good to know that the GFI is not actually on the outlets themselves.

Hey buddy
Not true if running 240v as per my post. But very true on 110v models :)
