Hi, PMC
is that AC PUMP similar to the existing one? or do we have to do any adaptation, mine is working fine now, but it is the original, and I like to have one extra (like you) just in case it Fail in summer on the middle of a trip.
I think i'm going to buy one using your Amazon Link, thank you for posting
It was a direct replacement. I forget if i needed to reorient the wet end or not. Either way, it only takes loosening the 6 screws.

Maiden voyage, bringing her to her new home. Didn't do too bad docking for the first time. It took several tries, but for my first time at the helm and with winds around 20 knots and gusts to the mid-20's, I was glad to get her in the slip without bumping anything or losing any crew overboard!

Beautiful boat, you will enjoy it, I have 3 years with our boat, and we just love it, is the perfect size not too small and not to big

Oh, having spent the day caulking the deck, it’s plenty big! Didn’t even get to the rub rail or the fly bridge area yet!

Scooper321, where are you in Baltimore? We just got our 1999 400 back in November. We really had no time to use it yet. We are up Middle River across from the Crazy Tuna. We were lucky, we found ours right here in the river. I have been caulking also, a PITA. Good luck with everything. Greg

Hey Greg,

I’m at Lighthouse Pt. in Canton. I bought mine in Middle River. Deeper in Hopkins Creek than the Tuna.

Nice, that is the best way to do it. What name are you going to put on? We are Gulls and Bouys.

She will be called "Shenanigan's". Got the old vinyl off yesterday and there's nothing with the old name on the boat, so I think I'm safe in telling you that. :D

So... checked my parts manual, but no luck. What is the size of the bow rail? The upper one. I measured it yesterday and it came between 1" and 1-1/8". Anyone know for sure?

Has anyone replaced the gasket on the shower sump? Mine is broken in a few places. It looks like it was homemade. I was thinking about using form a gasket type of material. Any suggestions. Greg

If I had to do mine I'd probably try stick on weatherstripping from hardware store. Easy low cost experiment. Frankly I don't think the gasket is all that important. Mine has gaps and I don't really care. Putting in the galley sink direct drain has made my shower sump something I really don't pay attention to anymore, other than to make sure it's pumping out water during a shower.

ZZ13, the weatherstripping is a good idea. I am also going to move my drain, especially after cleaning it from the PO. Thanks, Greg

Moving the sink drain directly over board vs. the sump is one of the best things that we could have done. Thank you to Bill ZZ13 for helping me on that. One of my float switch wires in my sump corroded in two that I discovered last week, so I took the entire thing apart, scrubbed it, and replaced it all back with a new pump and float, while I was in there anyway. I considered replacing the gasket, but like Bill said, unless the pump is not working, it should never really get that high. There is an over flow tube that will dump the sump into the forward engine room bilge to be pumped out there, before it comes out of the lid, which is how I discovered my float being bad.

Does anyone know where the seloind for the windless is located

I have just discovered upon awakening my fresh water systems that my sump is also not pumping... yay me...
On relocating the galley sink drain....
Did everyone just go straight out to the starboard side at the same height as the other outlets?

Yes, it is mounted behind and to the electrical panel in the port side cockpit locker. Battery selectors and circuit breakers are located on the panel. You have to remove the panel to access the solenoid.
