I changed all the interior bulbs today. I used Yuiip no flicker led, 1.2 watt 2700k pack of 10 was $16 amazon. I think it was Carpe Diem who recommended them
I actually own Carpe Diem now and I can tell you that after I upgraded all light bulbs to 1640 rooms are so much brighter. I’ll take some photos of another easy mod where I installed all LED bars in all closets. I have found that old closet light bulbs where getting super hot and I was little concerned that it would catch on fire when you forget to close doors all the way.

Yes welcome. We used marine beam because of prior experience with their product. Yes it’s pricy but no complaints. Quality bulbs in my opinion.

Before and after shots of ER. Now that I have so much light now I can see all the grime I have yet to scour out! Belive me pictures lie:rolleyes:

Looks like you have crown molding in your engine room
Doesn't everyone? That is actually something I really like about the 506, That is wiring conduit mounted in a grid to the aluminum floor structure of the main deck that makes the ceiling of the engine room. The cap is removable for adding wire or even tracing if needed.

I’m using those for my salon and galley lights. So far they’re great. Just got another order of those in to change out the cabin and head lights. Going to try the marine beam flat disk for the reading lights in the cabins. Also going with marine beam for my anchor light.

I purchased all my bulbs from them also. Good so far...

I replaced the closet bulbs with retrofit LED bulbs as well. I agree, they got very hot.

Interesting that you made your rooms brighter. I am looking to make the lights in my salon and galley less bright! It's a lot of bulbs and it can be overly bright in the evening. Thinking about a dimmer but I don't think all the LED bulbs I put in are dimmable...

Thought I might share my last project with you all. We love the boat but needed a little extra space .. I posted some pic's for those of you who are curious as to what lies beneath ..

It was your photo-shopped pictures that inspired me btw! Yes, it will be walk thru on both sides. Just trying to get the gates right. They look kinda ‘add on’ ..

Hey, im doing bunch of cosmetics on 2006 44 Sedan Bridge. Can anyone confirm that this gel coat is correct one for our boat https://www.iboats.com/shop/spectru...QYBCABEgI0cvD_BwE#ib_size=Quart&ib_size=Quart. Thanks.
I went on the Sea Ray site and on the Owners tab, go to Owner Resources. There you can select contact Sea Ray and request the correct color code for yours. I gave my HIN and requested the color code and got a response almost immediately. Mine was Arctic White Ashland code WG-MP-1949PN which I was able to order from Spectrum Color which was nearly perfect! Now, I will also tell you I requested some different information on the same site a few months later and they were not as helpful, so I might have just gotten the right guy the first time. Good luck.

Try to resist its a big and expensive job. Cheaper than moving across to a 50 or 52 though.
