Beats me, I don’t think I have one labeled elect. Same advice though turn on all systems then turn off the switch and see what goes off.. my guess is it is a master control to an aux fuse block.

It's an add-on. Never seen it before. Do you have underwater lights or something like that?

Agree with ttmott. Attached is last years oil analysis report for one side. if you use this company they keep track of the oil year over year. Kewl.

It's definitely an add-on previous owner(s) had done. Why would someone choose this location for a fuse box is beyond my imagination. I would assume it's a low voltage line with low amps draw. I have similar fuse boxes that feed courtesy and underwater lighting. I'm sure that if you follow the wires it won't be hard to find where it leads.

Hi Craig, while looking through this thread I noticed you said you closed but I believe this boat is still on the market. Are you selling it or is it a stale ad?

feel free to pm me to chat details outside of the thread

Has anyone come up with a creative way to upgrade or add a tv to the second stateroom. We have a flip down which is circa 2004 so not very useful. Would like to replace with a smart tv however not a fan of putting holes in the closet wall to mount it.

Mine has a small mount attached to the outside of the closet. Another idea is a flip down mount. Amazon has several. You only need a small one for a 15-24” TV...Here is one I mounted in my cockpit...works great on a 43” Samsung. The smaller one may be what you can use. C413D2DC-E741-4E65-A50B-1540CA2E84B0.jpeg

We have a Danforth fluke anchor with about 10' of chain and 3 strand line that came with the boat. We haven't used it yet so can't provide the specifics of weight or length of rode. Will be watching to see what others use.

Definitely not for sale. The ad must not have been taken down.

My wife and I are going to take a look at a 1990 420 Sundancer tomorrow. Cat diesels. 1100 hours on the port motor. 150 on the starboard that was rebuilt. If my wife likes her we will certainly have it surveyed. Here’s my questions for the wealth of knowledge on the forum:
Does anyone have a line on a good surveyor in CT?
Does this particular year/model have any common issues?
Anything else anyone can share is greatly appreciated.
    Cheers

I don't have any experience with the 420DA. You may want to read through the 420DA thread and/or post this question there if you haven't already: http://clubsearay.com/index.php?threads/420-da-thread.1273/.

I just made a data run the other day. I caught a slack tide and virtually no wind. I only plotted RPMs from 1000 thru WOT at 100 RPM intervals and recorded speeds in knots. Corrected for MPH our numbers are very similar. You recorded 30 more turns at WOT than I see. I am curious as to how you are propped? I am running 24/27s and am considering having a spare set of props (damaged) repaired and enlarged to 26 Diameter. I made the data run to assist my prop guy in profiling optimal props for me.
Depending on how they perform I'll have a set of props for sale as I don't really see the advantage of keeping a spare set for the boating we do. We are rarely more that a few hours from home and don't do much exploring in the shallow sloughs in the delta.
I would post the data but seem to lack the skills to attach the file correctly.
