Been fighting starting issues all year, Starboard starts fine, Port always slow or have to use emergency button. Changed Battery's on the port, Starter, Alternator, Still the same thing. Figured the only thing it could be was the cables from the battery's up to the disconnect in the helm, Which I had already checked, or the cable back down to the solenoid. Took all my cable stuff to make new ones over New Year's weekend. Took it lose from the disconnect,put a pull wire on it, Cut the other end after the last post connection because I knew it would not go through the hole in the floor.Told my wife to pull, Nothing happened, I said pull Harder!!, Then I noticed the cable for the Starboard Battery moving, WTH!! Further investigation, The cable was Labeled Battery Starboard on one end and Port Switch on the other. I guess it has been that way since the boat was built in 98. Ordered new Battery's, Problem solved. Ihope the rest of my year goes better.
