This weekend I was able to get out and run the boat. All was fine but then ran into "low fuel". This wasn't a problem as I was headed to get fuel but then all of a sudden I got an alarm stating "low fuel pressure" and I couldn't get to full RPM's. Both engines would achieve about 2K RPM. I had about 35 total gallons left in both tanks. I then filled tanks and ran the boat again. The alarm went away and boat achieved full RPM. Is this normal?

I think I read about this somewhere, but have never had it happen. I believe it's a safety/limp home mode to try to keep from running out of fuel. As you mentioned it simply resets itself by when you add fuel. I try to never be in a position that I'm out with less than 1/4 tanks if I can, as we never know when the lake is gonna kick up and we're gonna be out there awhile and the taller the waves the further the distance as well.

Thanks Tom! Makes sense and yes running low is never a good idea. I'll keep digging for information on this and update if I find anything. At this point, I'll just keep an eye on it.

Looking forward to seeing any updates, or upgrades you're working on. Btw...when you tired of that dirty looking white caulk between the hull and the front and side windows try to see if you can get any Seal Bond caulk from someone at Tiara. It's a superior product, but you can only get it through a manufacturer and I used the black so you can't see the dirt anymore.

Ohh man, you're reading my mind as that's on my list to do. The white stuff is looking rough and needs to be redone. A new black caulking would be perfect! Now that you opened that door, do you have a contact to get this through?

I ran into a Tiara technician and he told me about it. They use Seal Bond SB-105 for most items above the waterline. As it turns out they manufacture it about a mile from my home, and don't sell it to individuals however a nice gentleman there gave me 4 tubes and it was just enough to go all the way around with a very thick bead. I believe my marina can now order it by the case, so I would imagine just about any marina or manufacturer could.

Perfect, the product number was what I was looking for. I'll figure out a way to get my hands on it.
