So not sure what that means by gutting the ballast out. I don't know much about electrical. I looked for replacement tubes, but could not find any.I gutted the ballast out of the original fixtures and put LED tube bulbs in them. A lot brighter and not much work.

Looking at starting a new project. I noticed the ER lights run off the 12v side although I have a bilge/cockpit switch on both the 120v and 12v side of my main panel. I would like to replace all ER lighting with LED strip lighting. Any thoughts on how I would go about doing this. Thanks.
