4x4 Props - Sundancer 260

The speed is based off of the speedometer and GPS, both are within a couple percent of one another. I went ahead and ordered replacement fuel filters because I don't know the last time they were changed, great idea on the injectors.

WOT has nothing to do with your prop slip numbers, whether its 3500 or 5000.
Even if you got your WOT to 5k your speed is not going to be in the normal range

I'd also be checking or replacing plugs/wires/cap for good measure. At least plugs and cap.

^^ Absolutely. Just bought new cap/rotor/wires. Plugs I did last year but for sure want to double check all my bases. Have had many bad running problems over the years on engines due to ignition problems.

I know this is an old thread, but want to share for those with 80's 260 DA, I switched to a stainless steel 4 blade OFS 4, 14 pitch, from Ken at Prop Gods and like it alot! I previously ran a stock aluminum 3 blade 15 pitch. She gets up on plane quicker now and holds it at lower speeds and generally feels easier to control at all speeds. I'm running a 96 Mercruiser 260 with Alpha 1 gen. 2.
