Hello CSR members is there an official 500 Sundancer thread? I've looked for info and have not found one. Thanks

I think one was started years ago for the 90-99 generation. but have not seen anything in a while

Yes saw that. I just pulled the trigger on a 93 500 Dancer and will be looking for info, tips, ideals and HELP! On some projects and upgrades down the road.

Good on you. Guys at Searay tell me the 510 and 500 are pretty similar.
One thing for sure, it's a lot of boat.
Mine is a 2001 so many of the internal systems are the same; water, plumbing and of course the electrical. I've had my boat since June. Just now getting the bugs worked out; what new stuff will tie into the older, OEM equipment.

Since august 2019 we have her and I already know every inch of her......

Congrats on the new boat, and starting a new thread. Post pictures of her!
Mike
Thanks Mike,
I wasn't looking to start a thread but was trying to see if there was one already... But since I got it started I hope it will last and take off....
Soon as I get some photos I'll post them, I just recently had a massive heart attack and started to rethink life. This was going to be a retirement present in two years, but now I'm not going to wait because I see now more than ever that tomorrow is not promised so live today and enjoy tomorrow!

Thanks Mike,

Well good on you for soldiering on. This ain't no dress rehusal.

Had a 400DA that I could handle pretty much handle my own; made a point of doing just that. This machine not so much. Still haven't worked out a system to dock and do what ever with out a good hand at the ready.

Take care.

I also survived a "widow maker" almost 2 years ago. Makes you think a little different. My Dr has said a few times, he is not sure how I made it. Keep plugging ahead and enjoy that new boat.

I was driving home between PA and OH when mine hit pulled over and called 911 they found me in time then the second one hit on day I was supposed to be released from hospital...it was also the "Widow-Maker" Dr. said I was lucky it happened there in hospital.... So that was certainly a wake-up call for me start doing the things I enjoy now! Strange thing is I was in good health don't eat meat, ride a bike almost 30 miles a day somewhat fit for my age.....and this out of the blue......

But now I have one of my new toys and I plan to enjoy her royally!!!

This is from the PO I'll have to get over and take some of my own soon.

Congrats! "get over"... is she in Florida? Is she staying there?

What am I looking at aft of the piling? Did someone add a galley porthole?

Yes don't know why but it is a pop-out porthole....
.She is in Florida for now but won't be staying after we take a trip to Bahamas later this summer, I'll have her shipped to Ohio

What kind of engines on board Striker?
Really like to see some pictures from inside off the galley porthole.
