Bravo III Drives
It means the voltage in the circuit is low. Operates on 5v, if goes higher or lower, throws a fault. You can swap it with the other motor and see if it follows. If so, it is the sensor itself. If not, voltage issue in the Smartcraft. I have been chasing one for a couple of seasons. Found my problem, it is in the plug to the Smartcraft computer on top of the engine. Hooked to a diagnostic computer and wiggle the harness / plug - voltage goes all over the place. Already had changed out the sensor. Mine was a fault 40, MAT Lo. Intake Manifold Air Temp Lo. The fix, I am told, is unfortunately replacement of harness and/or computer.
