I often question whether my trim tabs are working as I dont see a change in the boat when I hit the tabs. Has anyone done a trim tab indicator? Also, i've scrutinized the Sea Ray parts list and it doesnt mention the tabs. Do you know if they are Bennet or Lenco?

It is likely Bennett. You can look on the Trim Tab pump in the bilge and it should have a name right on it.

They should be Bennett Tabs. Do you know if they are actually working? I would hold one of the buttons down and have someone look or listen to see if it's working. This can be done while sitting in your slip. Remember that when you press the button on the starboard side it will actually be operating the tab on the port side. (they're reversed and suppose to be that way).

Before I splash the boat, there is no reason I can't run the tabs out of the water?

They are fine to run outside the water but if the boat is on a trailer make sure the trailer bunk is not under the tab.

Don't press both buttons different directions at the same time or this will blow the fuse. This is a problem on the older Bennett tabs that was corrected in more recent years. If they are not working, start by checking the fuse and fluid.
