Ahoy, Long time boater returning from a 40 year hiatis.

Started w 26' Searay Sundancer '79-82 then along came career and family. After semi-retirement and living waterfront, we took the boat plunge. Ordered a New Chaparral 23ssi-ob and sold it w 35 hours on it as it was quickly realized that it simply wasn't enough boat. Just bought a SeaRay 300 slx w 165 hours on it from a mature couple in the UP of Michigan who are moving to FL and the boat had to go (lucky me)
Bought it w/ trailer and it will be here in 1 week.
This will be the biggest boat we ever owned but the Axius joystick and an elevator lift should keep the boat in great condition for a long time.
I am seeking a freshwater flush out for the manifolds and would love any experiences/suggestions

We go out a rough inlet and like to cruise the 18-mile long island in the Ocean to the south inlet and back on the intercoastal or go onto AC and hit the casino patios for lunch and adult beverages.
